The “Zemun Polje” Maize research institute is one of the leading scientific and research institutions in the region, which focuses on the creation, production and introduction of new high-yielding, high-quality hybrids of maize, as well as soybean and wheat varieties for different agroecological growing conditions as well as different needs and purposes.
A large number of well-known domesticated hybrids, as well as hybrids of a new generation, which are extremely high-yielding and adaptable to modern challenges in production, have continuously meet the needs of large farmers and farmers, as well as smaller producers throughout the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina, for 20 the last years.
